Greek-French Toast

I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday! I know I will since I started with the most delicious french toast I have ever made! Well, I’m calling it Greek-French Toast since it’s topped with my new BFF Greek Yogurt :-). I devoured my breakfast (Paul knows I’m very good at that lol!) and now I wish I had taken the time to savour each bite. The creamy texture was out of this world! I hope you guys get to make it one day to know what I’m talking about.

So here is today’s breakfast:

Greek-French Toast

2 slices whole wheat bread
1 egg beaten with a splash of milk
4 oz of Greek yogurt sweetened with a packet of stevia (natural sugar)
1/2 tbsp chia seeds
a drizzle of sugar free syrup

I don’t think I need to post the instructions since everyone knows how to make french toast right? šŸ˜‰

Anonymous - What a yummy looking idea. I have to say thank you for the ideas you are putting in your blog. Now that I am doing my own shopping and cooking again I am back on my way to healthier eating and hopefully weight loss. The chia seeds are great and amazing for keeping my blood sugar even all day since I am hypogylcemic I always strugggle with that when I am “dieting”. – HeatherReplyCancel
