Easy post workout shake



I hope this is the beginning of a wonderful week for everybody! In a way, I love Mondays since it’s like a fresh beginning with the hopes of accomplishing everything I want to do and have fun along the way. How about you? I bet you’re a Friday person! 😉

Since this is a quick post, I want to share with you my quick post workout shake I make for almost every workout. You won’t be disappointed when you make this! Paul says is the best shake he has ever had! How about that for reassurance? 😉

Ingredients:
1 cup of almond milk (or milk of choice)
1/2 frozen banana cut into chunks 
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
Cinnamon
Optional:
Honey
Chia Seeds
Frozen Strawberries
Blend all ingredients together and enjoy! I use the magic bullet to make my shakes since I can make individual portions without making a mess with my blender. I highly recommend one of these or something similar. 

Here are the macros for my shakes (the first line shows the calories for the entire shake and the additional lines show the calories for the individual ingredients).

    Fit Fun and Finicky - This is the BEST post workout shake! It’s also a great hangover cure. That’s how I first got introduced to it. LOL. I use regular milk and honey, skipping the almond milk (what is that stuff anyway?!?1) and cinnamon. For some reason when Ana makes the shake it always tastes better. YUMMY!ReplyCancel
