Overnight Oats

Okay, I lied when I said I would not blog about food for about two or three days. I can’t help it! I really got to share this one with you. These overnight oats are so amazing you have to have them tomorrow for breakfast!

Overnight oats is basically old fashion oatmeal soaked overnight with yogurt and milk (or any other type of liquid you want to use). Do your mix, cover and place it in the fridge while you work on your ZZZs. You can actually mix whatever you want in it as long as you don’t mind it getting soggy during the night. The next day you’ll have a healthy breakfast waiting for you! You can eat it cold or you may microwave it for a few seconds to make it warm.

Here are the basics for the the night before:
1/3 cup of oatmeal
1/2 cup of yogurt (I like Voskos Plain greek yogurt)
1/2 cup of milk (I use almond milk)
1 packet of stevia (or whatever kind of sweetener you like to use)
Let it soak over night.

In the morning:
Top it with whatever you want!
Chia or flax seeds
Peanut Butter
Crumbled cookies
Chocolate syrup

In my mix I have:
1/3 cup of oatmeal
1/2 cup of greek yogurt
1/2 cup of almond milk
1 packet of stevia
1/2 banana
1/4 cup of granola
1 Tbsp chia seeds
Sprinkles of shredded coconut

Who says there is no time for breakfast in the morning? There is no cooking involved! Just be creative and enjoy!
