Sunday’s workout

Today Paul and I had a great workout. We wanted to do 3 body parts, legs, triceps & shoulders, but we only managed to do the first two before the gym was closed at 8 pm.

Here is what I did tonight (check out the links for each exercise if you’re interested in this routine):

Squats (stopping when legs are parallel to the floor)- 175 lbs – 3 sets of 7 repetitions
Stiff leg deadlifts – 125 lbs – 3 sets of 8 repetitions
Step ups – 30lbs (on each hand) – 3 sets of 10 repetitions
Standing Calves – 105 lbs – 4 sets of 16 repetitions
Smith machine close grips – 105 lbs – 3 sets of 8 repetitions
2 hand DB extensions – 35 lbs – 3 sets of 8 repetitions
Lever Triceps Dip – 130 lbs – 3 sets of 8 repetitions
When I workout I love to listen to rock/heavy metal music. I just put my headsets on and I feel like it’s just me, myself and I in the entire gym. It gives me energy and makes me feel badass lol! Today this song made me get thru the last set of step ups that for some reason felt very exhausting today:-)
