I’m baaaack! Well, Paul and I got back on Sunday from our cruise and I’ve been meaning to blog all week but time has just not been on my side. It has taken a while for our bodies to get back to normal and we haven’t felt 100% yet. We read that after taking a cruise is normal to have cold symptoms, dizziness, “whoosy”head feeling plus others. It takes time for your body to adapt to being on land again. I also went back to work on Monday so in the afternoons I’ve been trying to get caught up on things around the house.
Anyways…. Believe it or not I really missed blogging! I wanted to tell you all about the cruise but I don’t think I will ever have enough time for that. We had a BLAST to say the least! We went on the Carnival Splendor cruise and it was great! We recommend it 100%! The food was amazing. We were pretty much eating around the clock. I’m amazed that I only gained two pounds! I was positive that at least I was going to be 10 lbs heavier when I got back… I mean, I kept eating at least two desserts per meal! My thought was that I don’t eat like that ever so one week wasn’t going to kill me… and it didn’t! I don’t think I could’ve kept that up any longer than that though. There is such a thing as “too much of a good thing”.
Our favorite part of the cruise was the zip line in Puerto Vallarta. The views up in the jungle are breathtaking! The crazy guys leading us thru the jungle made the experience even more entertaining. If you ever go to PV and want to do the zip lines, we recommend Los Veraos Canopy Tours
We also LOVED the cruise director John Heald (he even has a blog lol!). At first I thought he was a comedian since he was sooo funny! Instantly I became one of his many fans. I loved his sense of humor and the way he related to people. I would love to go on a cruise where he’s the director
I really can’t show you all of the photos we took during our cruise since they are so many! I’m sure most of my readers are on facebook and have seen the photos already but if not, you’re missing a lot of fun.. sorry! However, I will show you my favorite photo from the trip. The boat had many photo stations with cheesy backgrounds so Paul and I decided to take our photos to an extreme “cheesyness” lol! Paul’s facial expression makes this photo and can’t help to giggle every time I see it don’t you? LOL!
Ciao for now! I hope you all have a GREAT weekend!
