Watch me grow!

Hello all!
I’ve been missing in action for the past week since I was out of town for a few days visiting my home town. I had a great time!! I have a HUGE family and for the first time in 17 years, all of the siblings were able to get together. We’re 9 (minus one that passed away) so getting 8 of us together (plus their own family) that live thousands of miles apart was a major undertaking project. I’m very lucky to have such a beautiful family to say the least. I adore them all!
Unfortunately the partying must end and it’s time to get back to business. This week is the beginning of my new building phase where I have the goal of adding a few pounds of muscle to my frame. In order to do this I must gain weight! And yeah, along with muscle I will be gaining some fat. I have no problem with that since I know I will be dieting off that fat in the spring of next year to reveal my new hard earned muscle! My goal is to add size to my shoulders and legs. I’ll be doing specialization training for those body parts to make sure they get the extra attention they need and grow.
What I love about being in a building phase is that I get to eat LOTS of food! I’m still going to eat healthy but just lots more of it! Along with that, my strength in the gym goes thru the roof due to all of the extra energy I consume. Can’t wait to increase my lifts that have been stuck for a while.
Growing muscle is not an easy process (well, at least for me). It takes time, workout knowledge, lots of hard work and lots of patience. The key for me right now is to eat enough to grow muscle but not too much where I add tons of fat. A little bit of fat is okay.  I know is very unusual to hear a woman say that they want to gain weight but there is no other way around it for me if I want to improve my body composition. So how much weight do I want to gain? Right now my goal is to gain about 10 to 12 lbs starting this week thru March. I will re-evaluate my goal as I go thru my growing phase and see if I need more or less. I’ll also be spending more time in the gym hitting those weights harder than ever. Can’t wait to pull 225 lbs on deadlifts!
I have 261 days ’till show time!!!
