New Workout Routine 3/13/11 – 4/23/11

My Tall Dark & Handsome boyfriend just designed our new workout for the next 6 weeks so here we go again! Actually, we started it last week but since we were still determining the starting weights on the exercises, I decided to delay posting it until today. So this is week #2 out of 6. I will continue training heavy for the rest of my contest prep just like good Ol’ Skool style … non of this high reps/low weight crap training for me (what I mean to say is that that training style doesn’t work for my type of body).

Legs
Hack Squats:
100 lbs x 10 reps
110 lbs x 8
120 lbs x 6
Leg Presses (high and wide): 
310 lbs x 8
340 lbs x 6
370 lbs x 4
Step ups: 35 lbs dumbbells x 8x 3
Calves (whatever we feel that day)
Delts 
50 lbs x 10
60 lbs x 8
70 lbs x 6
Leaning DB Lat Raise: 15 lbs x 10 x 3
DB Fron Raise: 15 lbs x 12 x 3
Triceps 
Head Crushers: 43 lbs x 7 x 3
Dips: body weight x 7 x 3
2 hand DB extensions: 45 lbs x 7 x 3
Chest 
DB Flat Bench: 45 lbs x 7 x 3
Incline BB Bench: 85 lbs x 8 x 3
Pullovers: 30 lbs x 8 x 3
Back 
DB Rows: 75 lbs x 7 x 3 (woohoo! I went up 5 lbs!)
Lat Pulldown: 105 lbs x 8 x 3
Biceps 
DB Incline Bench Curl: 25 lbs x 9 x 3
BB Curl Standing Straight Against a Wall: 40 lbs x 10 x 3
DB Hammer Curls: 30 lbs x 9 x 3
Paul took this photo at the end of the workout but for some reason the camera didn’t capture what we saw in the mirror. The lighting was great and we could clearly see the tear drop above my knee… darn camera phone!

I didn’t get to have my cheat meal today since I didn’t have time to go to a sit down restaurant but tomorrow I WILL!!!
