I’ve been eating a high protein diet since the day I decided to change my body composition thru weight training. That was back on 2008. For 6 years I’ve been eating at least 135 grams of protein a day distributed into 4 to 5 meals a (1 or 2 of those meals may be a snack or my post workout meal). That’s a lot of protein my friends! I also eat about 50 grams of fat a day and the rest of my calories come from yummy carbs
It’s rare for me to eat a meal without some sort of protein. Sometimes I get tired of eating chicken, meats or seafood. I never get tired of eggs though. Never 😉 Anyway, a few weeks ago my friend Caren from Procakes sent me a sample of her new Protein Pancakes and I couldn’t wait to try them!
Since I’m a protein pancake snob (I have several recipes featured in my blog) I figured I would be able to tell right away if they were good or not. Not only were they good….they were delicious!!! On top of that they were much easier to make than most protein pancakes out there. All it requires is one egg plus some milk. Easy peasy!
The pancake mix is made with whey protein concentrate and a mix of flours (all gluten free for those of you with celiac disease). If you’re looking for another convenient way to consume more protein, this is it! Seriously, give these a try. I will again for sure.
