Apple Pie A La Mode

Apple Pie A La Mode CocktailP I N_______I M A G E

My husband and I have never been big drinkers but lately we’ve been enjoying trying different drinks when we go out to eat. He used to drink beer or wine and I would drink an occasional glass of wine. Oh an tequila drinks too (margaritas, palomas & shots!).  Honest we are not big drinkers!  haha  Anyway…..There are so many new drinks out there to try. Last year I was invited to a Mixology class at The Sanctuary and I had a blast! I would say that was the turning point for me.

What I don’t enjoy is paying for these expensive drinks! As my husband says “now that we’re boozers” our dinner bill has increased $30 to $40. Yikes! So we decided to start making our own drinks at home and expand the bar selection in the process!

Wait a minute, the more I’m writing this post the worse it sounds -drink classes, high bar tabs, expanded home bar lol! But let me tell you, having all these options at home, can come in handy for gatherings!

Speaking of New Years, this is my last post of 2015 and can’t wait to see what 2016 has in store for this little blog! I’m always excited about the future and I have no doubt the new year will be better than the last.

HAPPY NEW YEAR Muy Delish friends!!! May all of your wishes come true:) Cheers!
